Rare 92?

Post by Wcmachine »

Hi Guys,
Would anyone have any information on this limited production 92 chambered in 45LC. The SN is LL460 of 500. That’s the only numbers on it. I believe my late father purchased it in the late 1980’s early 90’s.
Ever seen one before?

I'll go out on a limb and say they made 500 of whatever it is. Whether 500 is rare or not is up to you. I don't think I have ever seen another old model (front sight on band, no safety) in 16" stainless and a big loop. I am learning that even the original Rossis came in many different configurations.

Look on the lower tang under the lever for the SN.
