Talo is I think a part of Lipsey or owned by the same folks since Talo editions show up on the Lipsey website.
Distributors who commission special runs from various manufacturers that are somewhat out of the norm.
Special stocks, finishes, barrel lengths or even exclusive models.
I have a Colt Kodiak and a Ruger Vaquero that were distributor exclusives.

Been watching some Youtube vids of folks going to gunshows in the few Free parts of America and the scalpers are out in force. Looks to me like 5.56 is going for 300% to 600% of what ought to be the going rate. Rimfire prices are ~400% of what they should be and about the same for centerfire pistol rounds.

Dropped by Cheaper than Dirt's website and they are back to their old tricks. Looks like they are charging double what they were during their Obama scalping period.

Yep, I'm the one that got this one. I was hoping it would stay under $1000, but didn't really expect it to. It's on its way and I should have it in hand early next week. I'm pretty excited about this one.
