I just picked up a 20" blue Rossi 92 in .357. Inside the top tang it's marked 2017. I was sure I'd need to slick it up a bit, but am pleased to say it needs nothing. Slick enough right out of the box, it'll wear in nicely and it's accuracy is very good. I'm thinking CBC is on the ball. :D

The CBC rifles do appear to be the best offering since the Braztech/Taurus/CBC conglomerate has been involved with the rifle. Thank you for the report. Now, they just need to manufacture what they said they would.

I had a 92 in 357 and foolishly sold it. Mine was from that time frame and was pretty slick also.

I've been shooting the Lee 158 RF bullet over Unique, the accuracy is very good. I'm well pleased with this one, much smother than my old 16" Puma. I just replaced the safety with a plug from Steve's Gunz, a nice little part.

OK, just bought mine a few weeks ago. Per Rossi customer service built 6/6/2020. Number on box 923571613, Serial # 7CO27XXXN. There is nothing other than serial number on the receiver, no 2017. CBC is on the barrel/ Maybe using receivers built prior (????) but don't know. Thought I'd at least post this info.

I removed the stock and found the date on the inside of the top tang.
