See if this works. According to my serial number this rifle was produced in 2009 the first of the Braztech production. Could they have used prior left over rear sights from the Interarms Rossi produced rifles? This rear sight assembly is exactly like the one on my Interarms Rossi Model 92. Thanks

It has a serial number type like the original Amadeo Rossi rifles as well. I thought the transition was before 2009.

Looks fine, could well be NOS (New Old Stock) as represented.

Thanks Gents. Transitional model? Might want to install a peep sight where the current safety is located. Is this a difficult job? Do I need to change front sight? Again thanks.

I has a safety?

So the barrel and therefore the front sight plus the rear sight is old model but the receiver and serial number are new model. Must be one of the few built with left over parts.

Yes Sir, it does have the safety. The front sight is not part of the front band. Thanks

Having the front sight separate from the front band is the only way to go.
Not saying I wouldn't pick up an old style if the price was right but making the front sight part of the barrel band is not real bright...

This from the engineer who's got a lifetime supply of ARs.

So the only thing old style about it is the rear sight and the style of serial number. Rear sight was likely changed. The type of engraving for the serial number is new style but the nomenclature is like an old one.

The front sight is the only thing worse about an old model than a new one. Everything else was better before Braztech. Better wood, better bluing, no plastic, better rear sight, no safety.
