Replace my follower

Post by Ohio3Wheels »

Not a big deal really, but my '92 in 357 developed a feeding problem recently where it had always been reliable particularly with 357 cased ammo. I discovered that the home-made follower (40S&W and 44 Mag cases) had distorted out of round and was hanging up. A quick order to Steve's Guns got a new stainless steel and I'm happy to say that it is backing working. Actually better than it worked with either the factory or the home-made.

Make smoke,
Curt... makin' smoke and raising my carbon foot print one cartridge at a time Image

Just placed an order for a brass follower for my M92 with Beartooth Mercantile, wanted SS originally as I figured visibility of the empty magazine would be better. He said that he only has the SS for the Marlin but that it should probably work and would take it back it it didn't. I really didn't want to dissassemble it twice if the Marlin follower didn't work so changed the order to brass. I also have a blued Saddle Ring coming with it and added a Marlin 1894 follower for the 44 Magnum to replace the plastic OEM piece. I like their 5.00 shipping fee versus some of the other places I have done business with.
