Weaver K Scout scope

Post by NavyDoc76-80 »

Hey all, especially my old friends from here. Been a long time. I had to make the effort to share this, as it may help someone.. For years I have wanted a Weaver K scout scope, but just couldn’t do it for the price, even sale prices which I never saw less then $179. I’ve had the NOE mounts for a while now hoping and anticipating this day. Well Natchez has them on sale for $114. These are the same scopes that Ranch Dog has been using with great success. So I bought two, which is like getting one free considering the full retail price. These will go on two of my 92’s. Have a great day!

Dave

I answered (tried to) your question about the rings in the "other" thread. Maybe RD will put a name to the rings .... or I'll wake up at 0300 and remember (but not get up and write it down)...

Scopes arrived today. They are smaller in size than I was expecting.
The Quad rings, medium height, are on order and should be here in a day or two. I’ve already invested in a Wheeler scope mounting kit so I should be good to go. I do need a fresh bottle of Loc-Tite and watch a video I know Ranch did on mounting several years ago. I’ll let you know how I did and what I learned. I don’t have much hair left to pull, so pray I get to keep what’s left. ;)

Nothing to it. I don't remember making a video, but that would not be unusual.
