Forearm is cracked. How common is that and how difficult is it to get parts?

look at the rear sight. it appears to be the type of sight that is used on the earlier 92's.

Might find one on ebay. Forearm is specific to the 454 as it has the large tube.

Forearm is cracked because the barrel is not properly relieved were the forearm screw passes between the barrel and tube (an area of work that Rossi has not mastered). It's cracked from recoil.

Since I have four school aged kids I can blame this on them and Brazil but after looking for a .45 Colt R92 for about a year and seeing NONE even at Dallas Market Hall, today I saw TWO at one venue where there were likely 21 vendors (Sherman). They were both Taurus/Braztec (blame this on Brazil) with ugly etched numbers, weirdo rear sights, safeties, plywood stocks but the kicker is they were on neighboring tables priced at $700!!

Hahahahahahaha

Thanks but.....no.

One kinda had a grey tint to the wood, very odd. They were both very "UN-smooth" wood finish wise. Yes, I can fix that but $700?!?!

I never even asked to cut the zip ties so I could cycle the levers with prices like that. There was a .44 Marlin right next to one for $50 more.....but I don't have a .44 anything so....

At least there were no Henrys. (but there was a Marlin 39 <no A> octogon for $2500  ). Show dealers are high regardless of their so called usual stance regarding pot. You can't give an AR away right now and they were priced.....STOP RANTING STOP GOING OFF TOPIC. +guns +corn
