Try Superior Shooters Supply. Seen one a month ago but probably gone by now.

Added a R92, in .44mag with a 20' blued barrel to keep my .45lc R92 company. That makes 2 sets of SA revolver/lever gun combinations.
I would like to get my hands on a .38/.357 as well, but right now that one is on hold (not to mention, they are scarce as hen's teeth right now!!).

44 mag. Just purchased it a couple months ago. Very much a newbie to the lever action world. Will be asking lots of questions that might seem pretty dumb. I'm used to bolt guns and semi autos.

Hi,

This is my first post here. I have a brand new Rossi 92 in 44-40.
I live in Europe so I had to order one and wait for about 8 months until all the paperwork and shipping was done.

I have an arsenal mold in .429 180grain with a nice large lube band to reload black powder.
Nitro will be loaded with Lovex 032 (as that is available here and not too expensive) which is a copy of accurate #2.

Fortunately I wont be able to order all the nice stuff for tuning from Stevesguns and many others as it seems difficult to mail from the USA to Europe.

All in all, I am really happy that I went with the 92 and not an Uberti 1873 as the 92 feels much more sturdy.

I have a new .44 Mag/Spec carbine and an older .45 Colt octagon rifle. A Rossi 92 action is a VERY strong action, suitable for powerful calibers, which makes me feel safer. My reloads aren't very 'hot' and I really don't need the power of a .454 Casull or .480 Ruger.

I'm just getting back into lever guns after some 12 years since I sold on a very nice Winchester 94AE. At the time I wasn't shooting it enough so it had to go. My main interest at the time was long distance rifle (1200+ yards) and deer stalking so reloading for the 94AE often took a back seat.

Now, as time has moved on and age has caught up with me, I no longer shoot long range nor hunt deer. But, following a move three and a half years ago, I can now shoot handguns again and having a .357 / .38 revolver it seemed natural to get a rifle that shot the same calibre.

I'm hoping that by the end of this coming week I'll have my hands on a Rossi R92. It has a 20" octagonal barrel and is blued. I am very much looking forward to loading up and trying it out.

I would appreciate any thoughts on ammo as I usually shoot both Fiocchi .38 FMJ 158 grain and Magtech 158 grain Lead Round Nose. I'm hoping these will be ok.. I can't for the life of me remember what I used to shoot through the Winchester..!!
