Go with a tang Marbles sight.
If you are running a round barrel you'll need to drill and tap the second hole in the tang but it really is the best option.

I think ALL of the receiver peep sights 'hang off the side' even the old school versions if you can find them.

The Lyman 66 is pretty similar to the Williams, maybe with better adjustment detents but I'm not at all certain about that.

IMHO, if you want a sight that fits in the bolt's safety hole, you will be hard pressed to get something better than those made by a member of this site, vtoran. Since he makes his asjustable sites one at a time, he can ensure it will fit your bolt. I would not be surprised if he can also help with your lost pin.

For frame mounted sights, I second Archer's suggestion for tang sights.

I have Marble's tang sights on both my Rossi 92. My 77 yo eyes like them just fine.
