BeerHunter wrote:I can't speak to the Marlin factory part but I installed the aftermarket Wild West Gunz one-piece stainless steel ejector and spring for the Marlin 336 in my Rossi RG4570S and the part seems to fit right into the slot ad function just fine. Of course, I can't measure the original Rossi part to compare to this WW Gunz and I suppose it possible there may be a little play but it doesn't appear to exhibit any abnormal play as I cycle the bolt. In fact, feels rather "snug", the bolt cycles cleanly without any resistance, there's no tendency to jam, and it throws the empty shells only a couple of feet away. So I think my RG4570S is back in business!![]()
As Ranch Dog suggested, I will keep an eye out for any wear of this WW Gunz ejector/spring.
If Braztech ever revises their "restricted part" policy and allows me to order replacement parts WITHOUT returning my rifle to the factory, I'll buy a spare Rossi ejector and spring and return to endorsing and recommending Rossi firearms again. Until then..."Trust, but verify!
