Not a Rossi but a Taurus Thunderbolt

Post by jstanfield103 »

Guy's/Gal's

I bought a Taurus Thunderbolt just a little over a year ago and it was junk. Did not chamber a round would always lock up. Had to tear it down to unlock it. Took it back to the LGS and traded it in on something else. The LGS sent it back to Taurus and when it came back a friend of mine bought it. It's been running great for him ever since. He Loves it.

Fast forward and was at the LGS today and he had three of them. He was told this would be all they would have left there would be no more of them available. The Supplier also told him that they had all been redone from the factory. I took the chance and bought one of them.

Man am I glad that I did.

What a beautiful Blued rifle. Took her out to my steel plate range and sighted her in. She worked flawlessly. I could not be happier. What a blast to shoot.

It was a great day at the LGS, I ordered a CZ75 SP-01 Tactical, Ordered a Browning T-Bolt Micro Midas 22lr. and got this Thunderboltl. Very Pleased.

Back when Taurus was cataloging them, about five years ago, I had thought about buying one but the reviews had been tough on them. Glad they got it worked out!

Moved this from the 92 forum.

Thanks to the Moderator for putting it in the correct thread.

Yes the newer ones have been redone from the factory. With the 26" barrel it is as tall as I am almost. Fun to shoot.

Sweet,
The only ones I've seen needed a lot of help.
I'm betting the CZ will be a keeper. Big fan of their product.
