Rossi Rifleman

Does anyone have any experience putting a scope on a Ruger Blackhawk. It seems short of drilling and tapping, Weaver and Weigand seems to be the options. I will be putting the scope on a 45 Colt. While I am not loading these on the Ragged Edge, they are plus P loads moving a 300 grain bullet at1060 feet per second.

I put the Weaver mount on my.357 mag Blackhawk last year. It’s paired with a Bushnel TRS 25 red dot. Don’t shoot it a whole lot but it as held up so far.
