I've done a few mods already, haven't even shot my 92 44! Currently struggling with the barrel band screw,
refuses to budge. Soaking now. Might have to drill it out (already have a new one). Want to remove the mag tube, think smoothing it might help with loading. Think I feel an edge in there when pushing in a cartridge.
Filed the loading gate spring, that helped, also knocked down the sharp edges.

I know, buy a RFN mould, but not 'til I try some things first!

I have an idea it's pretty basic but might as well see what was already successful.
Cutting the slots would be the scary part, assuming there are slots to cut!
