Sure wish I could remember how I resized those photos.....I'd like to put some more in other threads.

I sanded mine all down to bare wood and used BC Tru- Oil on the stock and forend. About 7 light coats with just fingers, and it came out great. Hard to believe Rossi covered that nice wood with a crap finish.0

OK, I have that Photo & Picture Resizer app, but the smallest it'll go is 291 Kb. Your spec calls for "240 Kib".

What does "Kib" mean? Never heard of that. Is that the same as Kb? If so, how can I get smaller than 291?

Ok, trying a test. Resized this twice.

Wow, what a pain.....

I don't resize anything because it's way better to host offsite in my book.

I used to have a big Photobucket account, then they went all crazy about wanting big bucks. Lost everything on there.

That's weird...

There's a work around for Firefox to be able to link Photobucket AND my FB pics are still in my account...I can go and save them to my computer at any time and re-host them. I use imgbb now but there are plenty of hosting services. Just be sure to keep a copy on a thumb drive, etc.

I use computers daily, but I'm not tech-savvy. I just do what I gotta do. I'm not into monkeying about with different browsers and what have you. When Photobucket went all stupid, I just flipped 'em the bird over both shoulders as I turned and walked away.

The wood in the stock always seems to have never met the wood in the forend. I had to use different colors of stain when I did mine.
