Any of you guys know if the Winchester '92 bolt stop pin screw will interchange with the Rossi part. Thanks Doug

I think Rossi rifles have metric threads. I'm not sure about the older ones like mine. Someone else will know.

I'm hearing the 92 screws are metric too. Doesn't seem to be much if anything available from Rossi for parts so being careful and hoping nothing breaks on mine.

If one critical part broke it would be a paper weight. :D

Or you could just make it. Homemade Rossi Firing Pin. One nice thing about the '92 is that they were designed and built over 100 years ago. If they could make the parts back then, I should be able to make them now. It may take some time with a file to get "just right", but everything is steel or wood and both of which are fairly easy to work with.

If you do find that the Winchester parts work on the rossi then please post all the info involved so we can build up the library for this forum and its participants. As a whole we have got it started but there is room for much more yet to be covered. +corn

Maybe the later ones, but I suspect the New Haven built are SAE threads. Any Winchesters that I've had from there had 'Merican :) threads.
