FNG: An Old Noob With A New Rifle

Post by BassCliff »

Hi!

Am I in the right place? ;)

I wanted a decent cheap plinker and just picked up a Rossi RS22.

Is this the place to talk about this rifle, in the "Other Rossi" section?

I refer to myself as an "Old Noob" because, well, I'm old. We had guns in the house when I was a kid, up to when I was a teenager. Then Dad got rid of them all. I did not acquire any firearms until about two and a half years ago when it became apparent that the need for self-defense capabilities was very important. I have several handguns and CCW reciprocity for 37 states. I train and practice constantly.

This is my first new long gun. It's just for fun plinking and to teach my granddaughters how to shoot. Please let me know if I'm on the right forum. I'm sure I'll have questions and issues that are not covered in the Youtube videos. :D I look forward to gathering information from the hive mind.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

Welcome,
Looking forward to hearing about the .22.
I'm a .22 addict but there's a bunch I haven't gotten around to yet.
