Hello,
Hope I'm posting this in the right place. Brand new member here. Was born and raised in California back when it was still worth bragging about, but only purchased my first firearm about 5 years ago. Of course, one of my favorites is the Rossi 92 and is the reason I followed this site and now finally joined it. This carbine has already brought me many joys and sorrows. I'm happy to be joining fellow 92 enthusiasts and look forward learning the secret handshake.

Re: An old new guy from the left coast.
Welcome,
Curious, other than the Rossi what you've collected in your first five years.
My first 5 years probably included
A Winchester 94 .30-30.
A Colt 1911 Army .45 ACP.
A High Standard M122 .22 LR rifle.
A High Standard 12A pump shotgun.
I think my Ruger MKII Govt Target pistol was probably sometime after year 5.

Re: An old new guy from the left coast.
Thanks for the welcomes! Not sure if I'm replying in the right spot. Archer, I started off with a Mossberg 500 20 ga, then Walther p22, Marlin XT22, Henry H001 22, S&W 15-22, Beretta PX4 9mm, Ruger Mini 14 556/223, Ruger pc carbine 9mm, Rossi 92 357, and Ruger LCRX 357. I think in that order. My wife gave me the green light, so I'm trying to make up for lost time.

We can move further discussion to 'All Other Firearms' or 'Topic Bucket' if you want.
I was picking up a few until the past year's crap storm. Thread about some of them in the Any Other Firearms.
