In for a penny, In for a pound

Post by Gunny268 »

First, I'm jumping in to this forum thing with some trepidation. Next, I feel gratefully obliged to thank all of you for the wealth of knowledge you've shared on this forum. I believe I've read practically every post that even faintly hinted at some technical aspect of the Rossi M92. What got all this started was my purchase of a Rossi M92. Its a 16" carbine chambered in 45 Colt with the larger (3/4 sized ?) loop, imported by LSI, Reno, NV. Twenty years a Marine. Then twenty more years a street cop. I wasn't sure what was next on the agenda. Maybe some woodworking, some reloading, and some trigger time on the range down behind the shop should keep me out of trouble. We'll see.
Later, if you're amenable, I'd like tell you the story of how I acquired this little Kate (and her little sisters.) It just might make you smile, if not, perhaps then just a smirk.
