Hello from N.C.
New member here. I just recently bought a R92 in .44 mag. I was doing some research on this rifle when I found this forum. Looking to learn about these rifles as I like to tinker with guns. I'm also trying to find places to get parts for Rossi's as I have already broke a screw and looking for a replacement.

Welcome to the forum! Those sources are about it. You can try RossiUSA, but I would open a chat session first and ask if the particular part is in stock before I call them. A phone call to Customer Service causes the earth to stop turning.

yes, it was the rear band screw. I was going to take the forearm off, when I went to take the screw out it broke about half way leaving the threaded part in the band.Ohio3Wheels wrote:Welcome aboard. Rear Barrel band screw?

Re: Hello from N.C.
I still haven't gotten around to taking mine apart and doing the refinishing on the wood.
You guys breaking screws are making me wonder if I want to do the job.
