Well hello to all , nice to find this forum. I'm a dinner table gunsmith , tinkerer and one who can't leave anything stock. I'm looking forward to the postings and willing to help you in any way . I'm familiar with pistols , rifles and reloading.

You don't have the merit badge until you spill B&C Bore Scrubber on momma's oak dining table. A whole bottle. Took a month to get the odor out of the house. The stain was horrific!

Lol better than that , I shot a hole in it. Left a nice 4" ricochet groove in it

or very carefully caping and skinning a couple of squirrels ... and leaving the completely skinless and hairless in the kitchen sink for just a few minutes .... yep, my momma (RIP) never got over that sight ....

I think a skinned squirrel was the model for the “Alien” monster.

Welcome! I guess I've always had the sense (or fear) to not use the kitchen table. But I've always lived someplace where I had a corner in the basement for my evil laboratory. I've always had a knack for wrenching on things, and have found that guns are actually pretty easy subjects to monkey with.
