New to Rossi

Post by BenW »

Been shooting for many, many years, but new to Rossi after getting involved with Cowboy Action. Found a R92, 24" Octagon Stainless and it's great so far. I did strip it, clean it up and replace the springs with the Palo Verde gunworks kiit and it really slicked up the action. Working up a load for it in both .357 and .38 Special brass with 125 grain bullets and Win 244 powder, since it's available. I found a load in the 2022 Hodgdon Reloading magazine that seems like it's going to work. But then, you have to work pretty hard to miss Cowboy targets, usually. I've been involved in High Power rifle (USMC Distinguished), bullseye pistol, BPCS and some other disciplines, as well as Skeet and International Trap. One thing about Cowboy, you can't take yourself too seriously. Looking forward to learning some good stuff here. Thanks for letting me in. +guns

Yeah, lever actions are like Lay's potato chips.
ONE is never enough.
Near perfect short to medium range delivery system.
