PSA has been OUT of any standard capacity pistol mags in the calibers I would need since Saturday.

X-Haviar Backstabbing Becerra will no doubt appeal to the 9th Circus Court of Appeals 1st thing Monday for a stay which he will no doubt get.

I recently read that with Trump's latest federal Judge appointments to the 9th, the ratio of conservative/liberal oriented federal judges will approach 50/50.

Maybe but I doubt it.
1) The ratio I read was more like 30/70 appointments by republican presidents.
2) ALL previous appointments were run past the senators for the 'blue chip' approval before appointment.
3) Those approving senators were most likely Feinstein and Boxer neither of which would approve anyone but a rabid liberal.
4) Up until Trump most cases were heard by an extreme minority of the members of the court all of whom were somewhat to the left of Lenin, Stalin, Mao and Pot. I don't know if this means the remainder of the justices were retired in place or merely content to draw their salary and do nothing.

The 'ban' is actually a stay of the previous judge's order.
The stay specifically retains the previous judge's stay of the actual law which declared all standard capacity magazines contraband and required their sell outside the state of CA, destruction or turning in to law enforcement. It also confirms that the transfers initiated between the date of the declaration of the law being unconstitutional and 5PM Friday April 4th are legal.

That is if you purchased while it was legal then the shipment/transfer of those mags in that purchase is still legal.

At least until the court case is decided one way or another finally.
