They hang up on me because mine's from pre-Braztech days.

I like it that way.

I'm glad that you finally see a light at the end of the tunnel but you would think that after such a long wait they would have the parts on your rifle today and shipped on Monday at the latest.

I am not feeling the love from Rossi yet. It has been a full 3 weeks and according to Rossi, repairs have not started yet.

Also, about 2 weeks ago I sent them a change of address. They still have not accomplished that yet. When I inquired about it, the person who does the change work told me he does more than just that and he is really busy.

On June-14, it will be exactly 6 months since I sent the gun to Rossi. I still have hopes they will meet the 3-5 week estimate for expedited service. I still believe I could have had the part custom machined locally in less time. At this rate, my 2015 Christmas present is looking more like an early 2016 Christmas gift.

All I can say is that Rossi's performance on your claim is awful.

Well it has now been 5 weeks since Ivan at Rossi gave me the good news that blue forearm tip could be substituted for the stainless steel variety and I swear he made me think they were available. But so far no love from Rossi. I just spoke with Ali and he said the gun is still "waiting for parts". The best he could do was promise to send me a follow-up if he gets an update from the repair shop. I know I sound like I am whining at this point, but I plan to post this ordeal to the (bitter) end.

Just called Rossi and got a complete shock. I still don't believe it. Since February I have been waiting for a Forearm Tip. Today the news is...I am now waiting for a new barrel. Seems last Friday the repair shop placed an order for a new barrel. No real explanation from CS but Troy said he would send me an email with an explanation and possibly a time estimate. This is the craziest gun repair ever!
