Its always something!

Post by Blind Hawg »

Bench time at 100 yds today. 24" 92 with .44 mag loads. 12 - 16" high wth rear sight all the way down. Shooting 240 gr JSP over 22.2 gr 2400. 200 gr PC cast bullets over 7.5 gr Unique shot 2" low. I'm thinking a Marble 41W front sight may be in order. My calculations say I need an additional 3/32" height.

Indeed it is. I’m struggling to get the iron sights dialed in on a Savage 99. I’m on the third front sight ramp, and that’s with three different rear sight elevators. A laser is bore sighter is helpful.

Yes, I have a universal one and cartridge style for 7.62X39 and 5.56X45. All are very helpful.
