I haven't seen this scope mount?

Post by akuser47 »

Has anyone here seen these? Has it already been brought up here? If so I was not able to remember it or find it with search so maybe another option if you don't want a scout scope. The reviews are not great at amazon for it. //its still an option may need tweaking though.

The pic in the link leaves much to imagination.

I've seen it but I don't think anybody on the forum has used it. The reviews when I looked at it several years ago were enough to curtail my interest in it.

It looks like someone tried to do a M1A/M14 style mount without the receiver cross cuts or the additional points of contact. Those mounts are known to be somewhat tricky with the good ones being pretty expensive and the cheaper ones generally said to move and require constant fiddle factor or at the very least take quite a bit to settle down and stabilize. (I own a Sadlak Airborn M1A mount and have owned 2 variations of the Springfield mount and worked with several buds mounting scopes on their M1As over the years.)

I can't really see the linked 92 mount tagging into a single threaded hole that isn't designed for anything but a plug really working out well unless I'm missing a whole lot there.

Yep it reminds me of the mini 14 scope mounts for none ranch rifles. I was excited when first found it but reviews def. don't look good.
