Great idea.

I don't order many cast bullets since I cast my own. But I have bought from Rim Rock before and I have to recommend the highly. Fast service and the bullets were exactly as advertised, ie, size and weight.

I've only been tinkering with the .44's for a couple of years (the R92 for less than a year), and so far the only cast bullets I've used are Rim Rock 240bb swc's and Bayou Bullet 240bb swc's. Been pretty happy with both in the Super Red Hawk but still need to get proper bullets for the R92. The R/R's and B/B's do shoot 3" groups at 50 yards poa/poi with my poor vision, but since jacket rounds tend to shoot closer to 2" I'm sure a better profile gc bullet would do even better. Now that I have a chrony (finally had a chance to test it in the back yard a couple of days ago with a pellet pitcher), I'll get down to some serious evaluation of what I currently have .... then move up to something better.

Since the ejector fix and smoothing the lifter contact points, my R92 seems to handle the swc's pretty well now. I do intend to (hopefully) find the magic flat point cast bullet for the R92 and buy a nice inventory though.

Supply and demand...... there are a ton of new folks getting into reloading. Once you cast and shoot your first bullet you will never look back or feel the same about a bullet again.

I would actually pay more for a quality cast bullet than I would for a jacketed bullet.

RD is Carolina Cast still in business? I ordered some of your design bullets from him when he first started and they have worked well, but I'm running low..

I have used the Leadheads 250 gr 44 cal Keith. Good bullet. If you shop around you can get the cowboy bullets for 357 and 44 fairly cheap. The RNFP bullets feed in the lever guns as they are designed for them.
