I am looking at one of these at a local shop in Excellent condition. I have not bought it yet because I am concerned about replacement parts (like firing pin). The hammer mounted firing pins on Rossi 461,462s are known to break if dry fired. I had one break recently, but only dry firing was with spring loaded snap caps (the good ones). So Taurus may or may not have parts for the older Rossi revolvers (like 720), but do have them for the 461,2. I am looking for info as to where I would get a new firing pin if I need it. But the 720's are less prone to breaking. I read that M&M Gunsmithing in Alexandria Va. (old Interarms shop) is the sole parts and reapair center for pre-Braztech guns that are no longer in production (like the 720). But I think M&M may have went out of business, and their website is down.... Soooo I'd like to buy the excellent condition 720 at my local shop, but how would I get a firing pin if it broke? ....And NICE 720, but don't dry fire it! Not even with snap caps.
