.357. Thanks for the compliments. This is the first time I've had it completely together since the bolt/hammer issue DIY post in Nov. I am exceptionally pleased with the way the front barrel band came out. I plan on submitting a DIY post in a couple of days on that project.
The QD sling mount on the butt plate came out pretty good too.
The finish came out better than I thought it would considering the wheels fell off right there at the end. Well, on reflection, they came off earlier I just did not notice. That may earn its own post. Right now all I can say is .
A little slicking here and there. SG's peep sight, ejector and hammer springs. Trigger, hammer, lever shims from Triggershims.com . Uncle Mikes mag tube front sling clamp. Sling and 10 cartridge bandolier from Brass Stacker.

Jim, what rear sight are you using? spot on?

SG's peep sight. Considering I'm only an average shot at best and my RH is sighted in at 25 yds shooting Hornady 158 XTP ammo, I would have to say, ya it is pretty spot on.
I will say this, anybody running the same thing at the same distance needs to unscrew it and check the threads at the bottom of the stud. When I had mine apart I noticed that the firing pin had been hitting the stud , enough to deform the threads slightly, I cut off a few threads before screwing it back down.
