Official R92 Picture Thread
As I sit here wading through as much info as I can while I patiently wait for my new rossi in 357 to make it out of layaway I was looking for a few pics to drool over. Unless my search skills have deceived me I haven't found a rossi 92 picture thread. Maybe this can be the start of one!

08/05/2013

Re: Picture thread?
You are absolutely right. Every forum worth it's salt has the official picture thread so let this be the start.

Re: Official R92 Picture Thread
My collection of R92s are scouts, here is the 357 Mag, 44 Mag, 45 Colt, and 480 Ruger.
The 454 Casull was most recently added and it too is a scout.
I've tried to document the success of all these rifles in the "Field/Hunting" forum, there are additional pictures there of the critters these rifles have taken.

A bunch of hogs is called a sounder.
A bunch of zombies is called a herd.
Don't know what the collective word for guns is??
How about brace or maybe for working Rossi 92s it is cured-headaches?
Congrats on the nice looking brace of Rossi 92s.

Re: Official R92 Picture Thread
I'm laughing out loud cause I guess you can google anything! It seems that a bunch of zombies is either a "pack" for a small group of less than 4 or 5, or a "horde" if it is anything larger! I learn something new everyday. So I guess if all you expect to encounter is a pack, the RG will do. If you expect a horde, you better push the R92s tube full!pricedo wrote:A bunch of hogs is called a sounder.

I've always thought that the groups of hogs are called "sounders" because a they move hogs locate the group with soft grunting hogs. I love hearing that noise out in the brush!

Re: Official R92 Picture Thread
I haven't gotten out to take many pictures as this time of the year the weather is pretty dreary here but here is a couple I have posted here before of my 92 454 Casull (my first of many Rossi's!).

That is a very nice extensive collection! I think the Rossi M92 looks fine with a scout scope.. Maybe I will go that route someday..Ranch Dog wrote:My collection of R92s are scouts, here is the 357 Mag, 44 Mag, 45 Colt, and 480 Ruger.
