Guy's I ordered a couple things for my Rossi 92 in 454. One a safety delete plug which I do on all my Marlins and Rossi rifles. Second was a new Stainless Steel magazine follower. When I got them in, and started to put the magazine follower in. Low and behold the magazine follower from the factory is an aluminum follower that is blue. Never have seen a new lever rifle with a metal follower from the factory before. It is a new rifle also. My stupidity is that I did not even look at the follower before purchasing a replacement for it. Really nice follower from the factory.
Just as well the factory follower was a diffrent shape than the one I purchased for a 454, it would not have worked in the rifle anyway.

They came with metal ones way back in the day too.

meh,, it'll probably fit the next one.
I actually only have one rifle with the yellow follower, maybe one day it might get changed out.
