howdy all, cold wintery day in AZ and found this forum.
i just recently picked up a Rossi 20in Lever gun (stainless) in 38/357
only have found 38 special shells and brass to load. currently loading
158 grain XTP & Berry Plated 158grain FN over 3.6-3.8grains bullseye and Unique, respectively.
the bullseye seems a little cleaner.
I purchased a 20 in 44 mag lever gun several years ago.
loading 230 grain XTP over 8.4grains of UNIQUE. quite please for the fun little pop guns that they are.
additionally I own a pair of rossi pump 22';s that the kids loved when they were youngsters, but have since matured to adults and shoot whatever they can get their hands on.
any loads with unique and bullseye are the powders I have available. i am enjoying these guns as much as my 10/22's when i was a teenager. more pop and reloadable so it keeps me occupied.
thanks for the tidbits of info i have already gleaned and I look forward to learning more.
ENJOY!!!
