More evidence Pumas could likely be not as old as the original Rossis. No Puma emblem on this one and the front sight is in a dovetail, not on the barrel band.

Legacy Arms (Interarms morphing into Legacy) imported from both Amado Rossi & then Braztech.

Re: NOS Puma 454 on Gunbroker
I am not sure about the Marlin 30-30 as it seems to have started at a penny.
I don't see much about the seller other than they have 4 current auctions and apparently rated A+(1) which I would take to mean they have sold 1 item?
Guys on the HK forum make a point to bid up auctions they recognize as fake from the use of pictures recycled from other auctions particularly ones they themselves have posted or purchased.
It may be that someone is attacking this guy's auctions in a similar manner.
He has another Marlin 336C Curly Maple .30-30 at auction started at a penny and currently $1600 assuming it isn't the same rifle. He has at least used different pictures although the serial is only visible on the second auction.
FNH SLP 12 g started at $1200 now bid up to $1426.
He's also selling 5 boxes of ammo starting at $500. Granted it is an oddball 300 PRC caliber but $5 a round seems a bit steep even there. He's got two boxes of .308 bullets (212 grain) suitable for the 300 PRC up on a penny auction.
All of his auctions except for the linked .30-30 are photoed on grey carpet.

Re: NOS Puma 454 on Gunbroker
The curly maple Marlins were a TALO run; 357 Mag, 44 Mag, 30-30 Win, and possibly the 1895 in 45-70 Govt. I think they were $800 to $1000 offerings. So, the current 30-30 Win at the current bid is not that off.
I don't know what to make of the $6K auction. It might be GB terrorists that are %@*&$ at state of the auction prices. Unfortunately, you cannot look up a buyer's history to see if they have been %@*&$ on other auctions. I stopped selling guns on GB directly, it's worth the consignment fee to have my FFL do it. He puts up with all kinds of crap from buyers. I guess he is used to it. There are some real idiots in our ranks.
