Hi Everyone
My name is Dale, but my username is hodgieno3,have had a lot of dealings with Ranch dog buying moulds on Cast Boolits forum, love his designs for my 444 Marlin.
I live in Far East Gippsland,Victoria Australia,in a Timber town well timber area,I go for the Sambar deer here and have been interstate shooting pigs, goats and other feral animals, worked in the timber industry since being asked to leave school,so got a job at 15 years old in a hardwood sawmill, now in my mid 50's and cannot work in the mills anymore due to ill health, plus the mills are closing down because of our spinless governments and greenies.
I like to shoot, cast and reload for my rifles,I own 2 Rossi rifles,M92 one a 44 mag with a half round half octagon barrel 24 " and the other is a beauty, which is a 454 Casull,a mini 45/70,my mates like that one,but I like both, the 44 mag is nice and slick and has been blooded, the 454 has not, yet.
Hoping to get a few ideas on slicking up my 454 and getting it to take game.
Will be around looking and hopefully being able to contribute.
