Im ok now, i am well stocked and am constantly taking inventory, and quickly restocking the items i use.
I wont be caught off guard again, assuming reloading components, ammo, etc will always be available.

Re: Lil'Gun 357mag Chrono Data In My Rossis
Thank you RD.
Another thing i have been picking up from time to time are the 25 lb bags of shot.
Especially the magnum shot.
I picked up a bag of the American Eagle magnum shot, payed around $41.00.
Checked there website, it said mix is 95/5 lead/antimony.
Now ive been putting back tin, not much, just a pound now and then,
I store these items with my boxes of wheel weights, lead sheeting, etc.

Steve, I didn't see what primers you were using for lil'gun in your OP. Due to my ADD, I probably missed it.
I'm pretty sure your using magnum primers, I just wanted to make sure.
So magnum primers?
Thank you.

Rumors in CA are swirling now that the commies have us limited to face to face transfers on ammo and have submitted regulations to be reviewed. Those rumors go from simple card to be allowed to purchase ammo to rationing and that they may start requiring permits for powders and primers that are equal to those required for construction and demolition explosives. Might be unlikely at least at first but IF they do that nobody will be reloading in this stupid state.

I saw something on it yesterday. No card is required, if your in the DOJ system, meaning bought a handgun in the last 30+ years or a long gun since 2014, your in. Then it's a dollar per purchase and a 90 second back ground check.Archer wrote:Rumors in CA are swirling now that the commies have us limited to face to face transfers on ammo and have submitted regulations to be reviewed. By the end of the summer, I'll have all the ammo and reloading supplies I'll need for the rest of my life in California.

The Hodgdon data on Lil Gun was almost unbelievable so I called Hodgdon and they confirmed that it’s correct. Lil Gun can achieve equal velocity to H110 with far lower pressure. This is of interest to me as I have a Winchester 1873 in 357.
