Retired guy who loves levers. I am 68 and bought my first lever, model 94 win, in about 1976. Hunt whitetail, antelope, muleys and occasional elk, always before with bolt guns. Hunt with a 257 Weatherby, but now retired have gone to levers. Favorite is stainless Model 92 in 454. Cast 340 grain from wheel weights for 1600 fps for plinking and load 250 grain Hornadys hot for other uses. Even run some 45 Colt brass with 45 cal . (45 acp bullets) for fast plinkers.....love that gun. Also, have model 92 in 357, Marlins in 357, 45-70 stainless guide gun, Marlin 1895 in 410 Shotgun ( Cabelas ' excusive), 22 mag Golden Boy Henry, and the original 94 in 30-30. ALso gotten in 45 Colt single actions, Rugers and Ubertis, that share 45 ammo with the Rossi 454. Did I say the Rossi Stainless 454 is my favorite gun of all times? I have owned well over 100 guns, but the little 5 pound 8 ounce Rossi 92, is my favorite of all times. We travel a lot by motor home and go to the NRA Whittington Center 1-3 times per year and other spots in New Mexico and Colorado often. The Rossi is now my camping gun for whatever lurks around the boonies where we go. Been reading this blog for years and just thought I would join like minded guys. I have learned much from this forum already.

Thank you. I will be asking for info on load data for the 454. Like both the 45 Colt and 454 with cast bullets with and without gas checks.
