It's a domestically produced Browning BLR!
Depending on what the shelf price is they might just take Browning's market.
Especially if they can actually produce enough of them to get them to the customer which has been a bit of an issue with the BLRs.

Of course Browning supposedly offers .300 WinMag, .30-06, .270 Win and takedown models.

I might be tempted.

I have been considering the .223 Long Ranger. We (me and my grandson) have three 223 Rem that have not been shot for a year. If I can get us on another prairie dog hunt I will get one.

No way on the loading gate. I prefer the tubular feed the way it is on my BB 45.

Thanks for the info, AK! Just the sort of thought to put in my head as I approach my summer break from the classroom! +guns

That's very intriguing! I'd like to see just how accurate it is, and the practical range of it. A 20" barrel in .308 could make a nice loooong range shooter.

I like the loading gate myself. If you find yourself in a "Tacticool" situation you can top off the magazine without unmounting the rifle. +guns

They are boasting it as a long range option other than a bolt gun. I doubt Henry would make a claim like that with out first testing it. I would think they'd need a 1moa gun at 100 yards to at least compete against bolt action options in the market. The calibers are what's awesome to me and yes it looks like the blr. I hope to handle one soon to see how well henry puts them together. +guns
