High School girlfriend was from Alpine. Weird family.

My dad, a few years older, separated a shoulder playing softball in his 50's. Naproxen Sodium and rest was the fix. I tore my right RC playing softball in my 20's. Rest fixed it I guess. Didn't throw again until my boys got big enough ten years later. It's fine if I warm up.

Hey RD - Nice Shooting! Sometimes it's amazing how everything comes together on those "no time to think" off-hand shots.

Great pics. Makes me wish I was out West and not stuck in Ohio.

Cast bullets are fun to experiment with, but sometimes it's hard to beat a jacketed bullet out of a tack-driving bolt action.

My wife always doesn't like me returning from the Big Bend area as I want to stick a for sale sign on the highway and pack up. A lot of guys love the Rocky Mountains but give me a sixteen square sections of the Del Norte's or Davis Mountains and I would be in heaven!

Micheal, the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. Ask any cow. I'm happy sniping a cottontail from my cottage attic, while you're shooting wild boar off you porch. While I'd love to do that, I'd hate to wake up one morning to discover my yard has been "plowed" by those rooters. Like anything is life, it's a trade off.

One day I hope to get out west to hunt elk, prong horn, bear, cougar, rams,mountains goats or even some wild pigs, but unless I hit the lottery (maybe I should buy a ticket) a 10 to 50 thousand dollar hunt is not in my budget.

I hear you. My wife and I are thinking about a change but it is not going to happen until after my parents have passed. Of course, not wishing that by any stretch but they are too old to root up and move with us.

This was good country but it has gotten small. Too many small neighbors sniping away and my borders. They don't have any habitat, cleared for the horses, homes, and what not but they also kill every deer that crosses the fence. I've got more feeders sitting immediately across my fences than I do on my property. All the habitat I have and the support I give it through the quail project and food plots, is simply to grow deer for them to shoot.

This year I will have to re-fence my entire west side and I'm thinking of going ahead with the 8' game fence to end this. That is my heaviest hunted side. The places on that side don't have any habitat as it was improved pasture but they all have feeders against my fence.

I can see and understand that. No one has respect for others properties anymore. The game fence will put an end to that.
