And exactly what does she want to DO with it if you return it?

I'd lean toward keeping it unless there's an obvious problem that needs fixing.
Converting it back to a .44 Mag IMO is more of a problem than Rossi correcting their paperwork on their end.
Of course correcting the paperwork with the ATF dealing with importation of a firearm and potentially with Brazil over manufacture might be a ROYAL Pain in the kester.

I will keep it, they do not even have any 44 mags in stock and could not tell me when they would get any.

I bet they start looking when logging, but I am happy with the gun and it functions perfect so they are not going to get it back.

Beauty SBH hunter ya got there--love the grips. I had a 7.5" SBH hunter and liked it but it was too much work controlling the muzzle-flip for my tastes. I then got a SBH in 41 mag and that was all she wrote--no need for 44 anymore! If I could find a lever gun in 41 mag I'd be all over it in a heartbeat.

I love my SBH .44 Mag, but have to admit, my .41 Mag Blackhawk is my favorite SA revolver. I'd like to have a lever action in .41 too. Marlin made a few of them in the 1894, but I'm not rich enough to buy one. They're pretty pricey when you do find them. Maybe we should start a campaign to get Rossi to build a limited edition.
At my age, there IS nothing better than shooting.

All we would have to do is guarantee a pre-order of a million copies or so. ; )
