H001TM is the black receiver Henry Octagonal
http://www.henryrepeating.com/rifle-lever-octagon.cfm

Same one I want, but I'd like to add the wood with the checkering off the basic RB magnum.
I'd have to inlet the barrel channel for the octagonal.

The Golden Boy Magnum is the H004M

I own the H001T which is the octagonal black receiver .22 S/L/LR and it is AWESOME!

That's the major reason I want the .22 WMR version in the same setup.

I had a M 39 that I got when my dad died. Shot it some , but it felt a little clunky. I eventually sold it. Way back when I was young I got an Ithica single shot lever 22. Boy did I ever think I was cool back then! Don't know whatever happened to that gun.
I now own a couple of Henry's. They are so slick and smooth right out of the box! I would highly recommend one to anyone looking for a nice inexpensive lever 22.
Thanks, Robert

Stevens Favorite 'lever action' .22 LR, replacement Numrich Arms barrel from long ago,
Weaver small tube 2 1/2x, a unique scope ring attachment to the octagon barrel flats.

Trigger had been worked down to a fine let off by a previous caretaker - but not enough
for a shooter to fear the lightness of the trigger may cause it to go full auto!

Bear that is a sexy rifle there! Love it how does she dance on the range? Does she tease the target till warm or does she show it all in the 10 ring, also that old school scope what is she? besides the kidding very nice. +guns

The scope is an old Weaver 2 1/2x, 3/4" tube, crosshairs.
Performs minute of ground squirrel out past 50 yards.
As is readily seen, the way the scope is mounted to the barrel
makes for 'low-over-the-bore' positioning of the scope.
A splendid 'woods loafing' rifle ...
