If it wasn't for my FFL charging 60$ for a transfer + tax I would be all over that 454! =(

Wow... $460! That is a great price with 454 Casull with no shipping charge! Doubt you would find one in a gunshop for that.

I've seen posts on other forums indicating that Bud's can be "dicey" at times. I'm not sure if it's true or the poster is just someone with an axe to grind. Does anyone have any first-hand experience in dealing with them?

I've purchased 2 firearms from Bud's, both went smoothly.

$25 typical ffl rate here in Indianapolis.

I was in their brick and mortar store about 1 hour ago. But then Bud's is my usual FFL and they now charge $15 for a transfer. I just picked up my 454 Casull from them as I had them mount the scope and sight it in. I also had the gun smith there do the Steve Gunz tune on it as well as fix the notch on the barrel so the forearm band screw would fit properly. The gunsmith there did a good job too on it all as I just wasn't up to it when I got it. When I get to feeling better I will finish up the stock on it now that it comes off and goes back on easily. I did fire off about 5 rounds to see how the sight worked.
