Hello From Georgia
Have just ordered a Rio Grande in .45-70, and look forward to learning more about the rifle and cartridge... already learned a great deal just as an observer.

Welcome! Based on your decision to "signup" I would say you are well on your way to having a rifle that meets or exceeds your expectations. Rossi makes them but it is the "Rossi Rifleman" (you) that makes them better!
With my whitetail buck hanging up on the hill, it is time to take my RG4570 out and prep it for my annual nilgai hunt.

Re: Hello From Georgia
Excellent gun for the money! I have been pleased with my Rio 45-70. After hours of research it came down the this rife. No complaints, everything works! I ordered a custom leather sling, with a leather butt stock cover and the Rio looks even better!!!

Welcome to R-R from the show me state.
Just for the record, our unofficial motto is "It didn't happen unless we see pictures" so we need a pic when it arrives. Not because we're cynical, we just love pictures.
Like Ron White said, "When you've seen one, you want to see 'em all!"
