Re: Your furthest shot with a rimfire?
A friend and I were out target shooting in 1975 in upper peninsula of MI when a small bird landed in the top of a tall pine tree. He said "look, a bird and was trying to get a shot with his scoped rifle". I reached down, took my supermatic and shot and the bird magically dropped. He could'nt believe it and doubt I could repeat it. Estimated 100-120 feet.

Yes , it has the ported bbl, old model with machined mounting of bbl. still tight, still shoots to pt of aim, if you can hold it, it will do its job. Bought checkered walnut grips to dress her up. Not much for over 50 years.!
