Sounds like a nice way to spend a little quiet time by yourself. Jealous of your having a place to sit outside with a rifle in your lap that won't cause a SWAT response. lol

Wow...almost 9 years later.. man how time seems to get away from us. So much has changed since this post..Same house but new deck, new chairs, new grandkids... I am older and stiffer, eye sight is getting worse, but still have this Rossi. It is still my favorite rifle. I have not shot it near enough in the last few years but still rub a coat of oil on it every spring.
Plastic has no soul...
