Hard to believe it has been 5 years since I posted my "Finally a Rio Grande Deer Hunting Success" post in the hunting section. The next year I switched to a new shotgun with slugs and then to three different rifles in 350 Legend.
I am getting nostalgic for the Rio Grande again and I think I will use that next year. I have been loading my own loads with BlackHorn 209 and find them much better than the LeveRevolution. Those Hornady rounds have cracked me in the nose a few times.
My Rio Grande functions perfectly and looks great. I worked it over pretty good when I got it and it was already a good one. I did clean up and TruOil the wood.
During the early part of Covid I sold off my safe queens but the M92 and Rio are two rifles I don't think I will ever sell.
It's been 5 years!

Re: It's been 5 years!
My son has a couple of .350 Legend rifles. I think if I was getting my first deer gun for Ohio, that's what I would be purchasing.
