Give Popeye a can of spinach & his trusty old ball peen & he'll have that gun back to you in a jiffy.

Report back in when it comes back, what they did and how long it took plus any explanation they make.

That bolt really looks like it was the first one machined by a new apprentice and later rejected. Sorry you have to send it back but they could hardly mess it up more. It may function OK as is but geez, I sure hope the factory makes this right for you!bueller66 wrote:What a bummer. yeah that one needs to go back. ain't fixin that one at home. thanks for the post as that is definitely something to check in the future during a purchase

Love My RG4570S but until Braztech revises their "restricted" parts list, I'll not buy another or recommend the brand to anyone else.

Re: Anyone Seen This Before?
Cannot say that mine is canted, but if the screw below the safety is tightened all the way down, the hammer drags on the right side and does not function correctly. If the is loosened an 1/8- 1/4 turn, then everything works well.
I took it apart and polished things up and made it better but the complete assembly is still pulled too much to the right side when the screw is all the way tight. Better than it was, tho. Gun shoots so well that I did not want to send it back and get it screwed up worse

Re: Anyone Seen This Before?
The inferior machining & metal finishing is one of the things that turned me off the newer BrazTech rifles.
Compared my pre-safety Amadeo Rossi 92s to the BrazTech 92s & the difference stands out like a sore thumb.
I don't mind doing the fitting, finishing, fixing on a rough gun but I require a dimensionally accurate rifle to start with and parts when needed......neither of which BrazTech offers.
