My New 22 for $85.00! 8-)
One of my favorite rifles is my handy little stainless steel 357 mag Rossi R357S. I have been wanting a 22 rimfire barrel for it to complement the additional 410 barrel I already have to create a trifecta gun set. Recently on eBay I found a new 22LR barrel for it for $85.00 which I though was a GREAT price: http://www.ebay.com/itm/141151082633?ss ... 1438.l2649 A new 22 for $85.00! I am ecstatic and can't wait till it arrives!

Good deal. I've been watching the barrels on eBay as well. Want a 357 real bad!

Got the barrel in the mail today. It's brand new still in original plastic bag covered in cosmoline. It snapped shut solid like a bank vault, perfect fit. Only thing the forearm color does not match so I'll sand and oil it. Really like the fiber optic sights very bright and clear for these old eyes. I'm a very happy camper!

Great deal, that is the wizard 22 bbl?
The regular 22lr break actions w/410 bbls were good shooters. Wish I kept mine.

A question. How does the Rossi single shot design handle the firing pin/hammer design to accommodate the two different needs of rimfire and centerfire cartridges? I've had Contenders that has two different firing pins and a hammer that could select either firing pin to strike center or rim.
Just a bit curious here.

On my matched pair pistol the 22 barrel is offset so firing pin hits edge of cartridge.
