I remember reading about that possibility before my 2016 "fun", but my memory is still kinda' spotty on a lot of those type details. I would really like to have a bit of a refresher on the use of the 40 brass for making .44 cal projectiles. Even though I'm not a caster myself (just a lowly user), I'd still like to know some of those tricks .... and if I could possibly find a cheap redneck way to turn the 40 cal brass into something more useable.

I vote for the 45 .l can hand load for my 460S&W lever gun my Rossi 92 in 45 and my revolvers in 45 and 454 using the same bullits and powder.
Another advantage of 45 cal is the also work well for Blackpowder
