Rossi Rifleman

I was looking for sling options and saw one of Ranch Dogs old post on using the saddle ring for a single point rifle sling. I liked the idea because it cheap, requires no modifications and seems reliable. I have an older Interarms 92 with no saddle ring, so I was going to get one a stevegunz drop in but he is sold out. Does anyone else make one?

I'm also open to other sling options. I like the brass stacker, but it's a bit pricey. I've seen the barrel mount kits that require you to tap the stock, not a fan of that idea. Did I miss any others?

I just bought one from them about a week or two ago,
put it on a rossi 92 44 mag trapper.
Also put one on a marlin guide gun, very nice addition.

I still can't find a blued one, Steve and Bear Merc. still don't have any. Maybe I could buy a SS ring and blue it myself?

Heat it up with a propane torch then dip it in some used motor oil. The carbon will turn it black.
Or some other color, ya never know with stainless.

Bear tooth has them back in stock.

I got mine from Steve's Gunz. Not the same as a factory ring, as it replaces the hammer screw. Not sure how durable it would be when used as a sling attachment point, as I only put mine on for aesthetic reasons.
