Magazine Tube Plug Screw
Question about a replacement screw. I have had a Rossi/Puma 92 since the late 80s. Great old warhorse that has always been one of my favorites. last weekend I refinished the stock and while reassembling, the screw that holds the plug in the magazine tube broke . I called Rossi and was told since this was an Interarms import Rossi, they could not guarantee their screw would work??? I rolled the dice and ordered it anyway. Does anyone know if this is the same screw (threads) as is currently in use.

Just an FYI on magazine tube plug screws and that is mine was too long from the factory. When you can watch the screw spread the barrel and mag tube apart on tightening it's time to shorten the screw.

Screw came in. Shipment was super fast. Screw was a little long but that was an easy fix. Rossi Customer Service gets an A Plus on this one.
