True, but if I can get one of the guys who knows what they are doing to put my parts together into a gun that goes for $1000-$2000 or so when it is correct then it is probably worth paying him to do it.

There's a lot of these guns out there done by lesser folk that at best can't be sighted in because they weren't done right and at worse don't function. Unfortunately quite a few commercial outfits building these guns haven't been able to do it consistently.
